Successful application for new research building Abbe Center of Photonics
Researchers of the ultra optics center have the major share in a successful application for a new research building at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, the Abbe Center of Photonics. The application was evaluated with great success by the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat) and will receive funding of 23 Mio Euro for a building which will accommodate major parts of the ultra optics center's research program after 2012.
